I usually make these as snacks for my kids, but one day I made this for lunch with a green salad and some chicken it was amazing! Check it out.
6 ounces of smoked Gouda cheese, thinly sliced.20 (1 ounce) slices of Italian bread.6 ounces of thinly sliced prosciutto.Cooking spray.
First, coat the bread with cooking spray from one side then place 10 bread slices on a work surface the sprayed side down.
Add cheese and prosciutto evenly among the slices and top with the other slices of bread the sprayed side up.
Over medium heat, heat a large nonstick skillet and cook the panini for 5 minutes on each side.
Easy, peasy and crispy! As I said you can serve this prosciutto and smoked gouda panini with tossed green salad, or chicken, chickpea and Zucchini stew! Give it a shot, it’s worth it.
