Warm Spiced Cashews

I love the chinese five spice powder, it’s a has a unique taste! These warm spiced cashews will blow your mind! Check out how I make them.

You’ll Need:
2 tsps of dark brown sugar.½ tsp of ground cumin.¼ tsp of freshly ground black pepper.2 tsps of water.½ tsp of kosher salt.2 tsps of peanut oil.½ tsp of five-spice powder.¼ tsp of ground red pepper.1 cup of unsalted roasted cashews.

How to:
In a medium saucepan, heat the peanut oil over medium heat and stir in the brown sugar, five spice powder, cumin, black pepper, red pepper and water.
Stir constantly to dissolve the sugar then mix in the cashews and cook for 2 minutes stirring frequently.
On a sprayed baking sheet, spread the cashews using 2 forks to separate them then sprinkle the nuts with salt.
In a preheated oven to 350° bake for 7 minutes and cool a bit before serving. Enjoy!
