Mini Onion Bacon Pies

Ingredients

for 6 mini pies

  • 1 pie crust, 9 inch (23 cm)
  • 3 cups onion, sliced
  • 2 cups pumpkin, or butternut squash
  • ½ lb bacon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground sage
  • oil, for frying
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, for egg wash
