My family looks forward to this fabulous side dish every year! Tender green beans cooked in a creamy mushroom sauce and topped with crispy fried onions and cheddar cheese; so many family favorites ingredients all put together in one dish!
I do love a classic green bean casserole (with canned beans) but growing up my mom always made green bean casserole with fresh beans so that’s the way I make it too.
